The Concise guide to online etiquette : a new book by Oluwatosin Olabode
The internet was then a lawless place and,as the first generation to truly grow up with it, we don’t really have any reference for how to behave ourselves in that space. This is a serious issue, because social media and the internet have become extensions of our society. We spend a decent chunk of our lives online and, as much as boomers want to criticize us for that, we are the most connected and well-informed generation because of it. My experience in the digital wellness space has prompted me to write this guide, or rulebook of sorts. It is a simple book explaining my 10 key rules of online etiquette. These rules exist to help newcomers and veterans alike understand how to act online as a positive influence.
