Patrick McAndrew is the Founder of the Future of
Entertainment Alliance, a new initiative that advocates for human
creativity in entertainment as emerging technologies like AI continue
to revolutionize the industry. Patrick's work focuses on the
benefits of implementing responsible AI practices with expertise in
entertainment and media. He currently works on the responsible AI team
at HCLTech and has worked for the Responsible AI Institute and the
Entertainment Community Fund._
As a writer and actor, Patrick is particularly interested in using
theatre, film, and media as a gateway to learning about the Internet,
technology, and social media's influence on our decisions, habits, and
lifestyles. His brand-new musical, _The Startup_, with music
co-written by Kevin Mucchetti, explores the influence that Big Tech
has on our world today. _The Startup_ will have its world premiere in
Spring 2026 at The Flea Theater in New York City. His short film,
"AllI," which he wrote and starred in, explores a future where
thought-processing LLMs rein supreme as an escape from a mundane
reality. Patrick's one-man show,_ Terms of Service, _won the award
for "Best Fiction Show" at the 2024 United Solo Theatre Festival._
